They'll almost certainly be gone by early 2012

        • As per 18JUL11 GDS inventory display, EVA Air starting 31OCT11 is adjusting passenger service to the New York City area, where it’ll transfer Taipei – Newark service to Taipei – New York JFK. Service remains 4 times a week with Boeing 777-300ER. Inbound flight operates via Anchorage.

Um, well, maybe not. If jimyvr's AirlineRoute.net reading of the latest GDS changes is right, SQ866/865 get a 744 from mid-January 2012. The 77W goes to PVG (SQ830/833) and the 73A goes somewhere else.

Winter schedule is in effect until 24MAR12. April 2012 would still technically count as early 2012.

A380-800s and decommission five B777s and all seven B747-400s

                • No more 747 for SQ25/26 from mid-January 2012:

Up to mid-January 2012, there are saver seats in both Business and First for both SIN-FRA and FRA-JFK.

From mid-January 2012, there are Standard Awards in Business but no Saver Awards and no Saver and no Standard Awards in First. This strongly suggests that this could be an A380. Surprisingly, it's the same for SIN-FRA and FRA-JFK while most comments suggested, SQ would not fly the A380 FRA-JFK.

After mid-January 2012, SQ is obviously putting at least one 747 on the SIN-HKG route. Maybe that's the spare bird that can be used if any A380 goes tech? Or they haven't sold all 747 yet and just continue utilizing it for that reason - if they sold it they can change the aircraft for SIN-HKG without too much inconvenience for their customers.

                    Interesting deduction.
30 Jan 2012 seems to be the date from which both F savers and F standards are no longer available on SQ25/26. J standards continue to be available.

Is the First Saver / Standard Awards under "A" class?

                      • First saver is O class
                        First standard is A class

Edit: another F standard booking shows P class so I guess First Standard books to either A or P

I am booked on F saver, and it is indeed P class.

Either a sign of delay in equipment change or an example of more computer glitch.

                              • Just checked again. No saver and no standard awards in F in March. No saver awards in J but there are J standard awards.
