            That will be required by Star Alliance rules. My guess is 9V-SKS will be painted in the SQ / Star Alliance livery.

                      Btw, does anyone knows what SQ do with the old interior fitting and seats? Destroyed them or sell them to charter airlines at discounted rate?

                        Normally, the interiors go with the aircraft to the buyer or lessor when the aircraft are handed over.

                              For the 747-400, the 1st class is removed and destroyed. Some of them are kept for spare but since they are 'getting rid' of the 747 fleet, they dispose them. For business and economy they remain in the aircraft unless it is going for BCF conversion.

                              Sometimes certain customers want an all economy configuration. In that case they remove the business class, keep a few good seats and dispose the rest. Then they load up the aircraft with all economy seats from the store.

                              The amount they charge the customers is enough to replace those seats within the first flight.
