Singapore Airlines To Inaugurate A380 Operations to Hong Kong

Hi everyone! Im a newbie here.
I took some photos on 9/7, the date of first SQ's A380 flight.

9V-SKG used gate 60. According to HKIA, there are only two gates available for A380. One is 60 and the other one is 62. In the worst condition, the A380 would occupy two other gates at the same time








And luckily, many birds with special liveries came to HK that day. Is it because of A380"

Anyone know if they do the full turndown service in R class on this route. I seem to remember they only do this on flights longer than 7 or 8 hours.

If not, it seems a bit excessive to pay R price when you are effectively going to be sat in the seat which is only slightly bigger than old J. Would sooner take new J, or old F.
