newbie here as well, just registered. I will be getting the goodies bag for sure cos have booked it for the 9thJuly morning flight with SQ latest discount of 298sgd. Its a bargain i think and hopefully i can share my experience once i logon in LanghamPlace HK.

Ok i've talked to my friends, and i would like to move my redemption booking by exactly 1 week.

Is there anyone in SQ that i could talk to about this that may be generous and let me move my Business class redemption by exactly 7 days?

Only thing I can think of is going to the Brisbane SQ office ... however I'm pretty sure they won't help

BNE-SIN is over 75% empty, I didn't check SIN-HKG but i'm sure with double the capacity there are plenty of seats.

Is your redemption booked in Saver (I), Standard (D) or Full (C)?

If it's the first one, you could well be out of luck.

If your reward is a Saver reward ticket, then you'll just have to switch to one of the remaining 772 or 773 flights with Saver seats. At least you're lucky that there are flights with Saver seats in F and J on the route, unlike LHR, CDG, ZRH, etc.

Suites Booking originating from Singapore to Hong Kong is officially available now to purchase via website, the round trip price is approximately SGD $5078 as of today.

Those 772 and 773 don't have any availability and they break my 14 hour daytrips in Singapore :-/

I find it amazing:

F return is 4000 SGD and SQ doesn't give a continental whether you are riding on the old Regional F or in the brand-new 77W F. Same price - HUGE difference.

R comes again at a 25% surcharge - at 5.000 SGD return.

This kind of pricing policy leaves me speechless... SQ has now four different F products out there (R included) and has not yet sorted out how to market them correctly. Regional F should be long long gone.

Anyway, one-ways are 2.600 SGD from HKG. Worth the money to find out the product is not. Or 3.000 SGD from SIN and the enlightening that access to TPR is not worth 400 SGD on top :-)
