Hot Towels Are Not So HOT Anymore

Towels on my flights have been roasting hot! Too hot to hold at first, but they do cool down quickly.

The normal SQ towel 'fragrance' is fine.
But sometimes they smell musty.

Again, every human beings has different needs and priorities. As an example, I would not do bird watching. It's not my interest. But I would not comment on their complaints if the birds did not show up. So there you go...

I just noticed this on my recent SQ flights. Sometimes they are hot, sometimes they are just hot in the middle, and often they cool down very quickly after unfolding-- almost to the point of becoming cold and clammy before you're done with them.

Well, so far on my several LH F flights, the towels were hot, stayed hot very long, and very moist.

The LH towels were too wet and too hot - dripped burning hot water all over me and the papers I was reading

Wow dripping? My towels for my LH transatlantic were not dripping... just hot and moist... it was great to clear up my allergy... I mean nose snuffling...

My trips in May 2008 had mix results in Y...generally however it ranged from anywhere from warm to "sweet bejebus!" hot...and I love hot stuff (I guess its cause I love -40c over +40c anyday)
