The 4th A350-900MH (9V-SHD) has already been delivered and the 5th (9V-SHE) will be delivered in April.

9V-SHD has landed this morning after completing its first flight to Adelaide. It is currently being prepared for the return flight to Singapore.

9V-SHF completed her First Flight yesterday. 9V-SHE completed her RTO yesterday and is scheduled for her First Flight today.

I'd rate it as having a good chance. It's possible it could get the long haul A359 even as the timing of the flight pair matches with the long haul rotation gaps.

A surprising and rare error in that AusBT article though...

The upgrade for SQ265/6 is not from the sloping sleeper seats as pictured that belong in the 772 regional plane. That flight pair is always served by the 772ER with the 2006 77W J long haul product refitted into where the SpaceBeds used to be. Hmmm...

For J it's doubtful if it's an upgrade. For Y it definitely is!

These new A350s would be so welcome right now. Possibly they may need to use them on 787 routes instead of A330s if the bookings are high.
