Wow - that tian of crab is now differently presented compared to the usual ones I know on the LHR-SIN routing.

True about the Chilean Sea Bass. You have rice and yours appeared to have been fried on one side or what appears to be batter. At the first look, I would not have guessed it's fish.. but IIRC, my BTC Chilean Bass dish was mashed potato with two huge prtions of fish.

For easier direct comparison, here are the pictures of the BTC Seabass and the one on ICN-SIN:

Interesting that you had rice. This BTC ex SFO had sautéed potato.

                  Keeping track

Update: This TR has reached 10% of the viewership of the MOATR!

And I guess it will be hard to reach 100%!!!
To put it in perspective, here is what has been covered so far:

                    1. Some like potatoes. Some like rice.
                    2. What is Jerusalem Artichoke? I thought it was a kind of artichoke.

Jerusalem Artichoke does not come from Jerusalem and is actually a sort of Sunflower.

Thank you... I am sure many has taken for granted as an artichoke.

Go back to work! Get the pictures of transit hotel. Post more pictures of the place where you visited. Kinky pictures appreciated. And your readership would go up.

DeltaFlyingProf's first visit to the TPR

After about 5h of sleep in the transit hotel, my friend and I went to the SKL in T3 and presented our boarding passes. The lady asked me if I had been there before and I answered in the affirmative. She then gestured for me to go in.

I was a bit disappointed, because it meant she thought I could not go to the TPR... I guess that since the BP had been printed in SFO, it did not have a TPR invitation printed on it. So I asked whether we were not entitled to go to the TPR. She smiled and almost scoffed, saying "I don't think so", to which I answered "This is a paid ticket, isn't it the rule that a F paid ticket entitles the passenger to go to the TPR?" She then took the BP and said "Let me check."
After looking into the computer she came back saying "you are right, I will take you there." And she escorted me to the TPR. My friend was behind me and he got escorted by another lady.

We passed the ladies at the entrance who smiled at us and my escort asked me if I wanted to sit down in one of the lounge chair or if I wanted to have breakfast before the flight. I decided on having breakfast and she showed me to the dining room and wished us to enjoy the TPR before she went back to her duties at the SKL entrance.
We sat down at a table, and they brought us some cold towels. I am not sure I was fully awake:

On the TPR breakfast menu, I ordered eggs and the Dim Sum. They took order for drinks and I got some orange juice and a cappuccino.
While they were doing the preparation, we got some fruits from the buffet offerings:

My friend looked more awake than I did!

The eggs arrived first. I should say that you have a selections of things that can go with it. You can have bacon or chicken sausage, asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes, and maybe a few other things I don't remember.

It was pretty good and was followed by the dim sum. I must say i would recommend the dim sum. Simply delicious. Perfectly done and not greasy. My friend had some dry noodles with shrimp and minced pork served with a broth on the side but he forgot to take pictures of it.

After having had breakfast, we sat down in the lounge area. There were a few more people, but very few.

And could observe an A380 going to its gate

In the TPR, the personnel comes around very regularly to take orders. I had a few more cappuccinos before we left to board our flight to Manila.

In the next episode, flying SIN to MNL and beyond!
