Iata, NTU offer MBA course

THOSE working in the aviation industry who are keen to pursue MBA qualifications can look forward to the International Air Transport Association (Iata)'s first collaboration with a university in Asia.

The Iata, a global industry body representing some 230 airlines from 125 coutries, will partner the Nanyang Technolocal University (NTU) here to roll out a part-time executive MBA (EMBA) programme for senior managers in Aviation Management.

While details are still being finalised, the programme will be launched within a year.

Iata and NTU signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday morning at the NTU to work together on the development of human capital for the global aviation industry.

Besides the EMBA programme, the two organisations will cooperate on research in cultural intelligence and global talent management and plan to organise an International Aviation Human Resource Summit here.
