fwiw, i do not believe it will have much affect whatsoever. a large number of the pax on the flight would be Australians from Melbourne and down here we dont even discuss H1N1 anymore, nobody cares!

I will report back on loads i have a mel-sin-mel in a couple of weeks time, im on the 773 services, heres hoping its a 773A!! (flying out jul 23)

Next stop TLS... and then we wait for the anouncement of the next WhaleJet route.
I'm putting money on KUL-SIN, to appease those pesky PPS pax.

        • Are we expecting another route on top of MEL?

          • The upgauging of SIN-MEL is timed to correspond with the delivery of 9V-SKJ in September, probably early September. 9V-SKK is expected to be delivered in January.

Surely no-one would dare even contemplate such a thing

It's right up there with transgressions against Pucci on the TOF BA board

Speaking of TOF, splitting my sides laughing at your comment about the old Regional F & C seats. Pure gold, stargold !

9V-SKK should be transferred to XFW later this month for cabin outfitting and then delivered in January.

                          • What is the normal time frame between roll out and first flight? 1 to 2 weeks?

For a WhaleJet, it's about a month or so. There is still some work that gets done after rollout, then stationary tests, then low-speed taxi tests, then high-speed taxi tests, then flight tests and delivery to XFW for cabin outfitting.
