Wonder if SQ will ever upgrade the sq26

Yes, I’m wondering about the same even though it’s not so much about if but rather when. Unless they decide to pull the A380 from the route all together. I’m back on SQ26/25 in April and we already know it’s still the old configuration.

9V-SKE has not been flying since arriving from PVG as SQ833 on 11MAR18.

9V-SKE is now back in service since 02MAR18.

Yes, the break was not very long, only about 5 days. It's stopped flying again, however, and this time it's been for longer. Since returning from PVG on 11MAR, it's been on the ground 10 days so far this time.

And so far has done SQ285/ 286, SQ322 and coming back as SQ305 with all on time performance.

SKV has flown to LHR as 322/305. The plane that flew 306 (SWG) will return as SQ317 and arrive close to 8AM in Singapore

SKU has definitely been out for a week so it sounds like some sort of heavy maintenance before it begins flying longhaul.

Planes need heavy maintenance when they move from 8 hour flights to 12 hour flights? Wow, I learn something new every day!

Apparently the new A380s will be flying to HKG from feb

And LHR, but 305 will return as A380 and 317 will return as a 77W almost 2 hrs. later. 306 will be a 77W and 322 will be the A380 (unchanged).

9V-SKB just departed Changi Airport as SQ8898 and is heading north-west. Seems like she's going for good.
