Cool. I wonder if they can be seen from the public road, since the area is quite sparsely built up. Will be interesting to drive by and observe the parting out process.

9V-SKY just flew passed my place Flightradar24 >SQ8896 SYD-? < Heading to SIN

So rare to have A380 nowadays flying above Sydney except China Southern Airlines A380 once a while

9V-SKY is one of the 5 newer A380s ver 3, and looks like SIA is bringing back all the ver 3 A380s. And can expect the few older "retired" A380s to be flown to either ASP or to France for long term storage.

9V-SKW departed ASP for SYD. Another gear down ferry by the look of it (flight plan filed at 21,000ft all the way)

Unexpected to see this V3 one probably heading back to SIN in the coming days after its gear swing in the QF hangar.

Seems 9V-SKG is undergoing preparations to leave the fleet. It is apparently in full-white with blue tail.

Been trying to find some seats for my plan to travel to Germany in November, redemption seats, I found SQ25/26 SIN-FRA is operated by an A388, on the same day SQ325/326 is operated by a B773. So the A380 will be in operation then?

I didn't think it left the gate, as it arrived and departed from the same gate? (Gate 61)

It does, but there is a certain weight the A380 has to be, so it can takeoff. The A380 was probably too heavy (because of the fuel) for it to takeoff in ASP.
