  • Very small alteration to J cabin on 772ER's

Anyone know what it is ?.

If anyone does get it, please state the flight you were on when you noticed it.

(This should cut out those who 'cheat' by being told by SQ staff....)

if they're anything like BA, then they've put the half the Y cabin in front, then the J cabin, then the rest of the Y cabin

I say this is a discrimatory competition....some of us have never flown SQ, let alone SQ J class yet.....

Whoever spots this "alteration" has got 3 weeks to report back....
If God had really intended men to fly, he'd make it easier to get to the airport.

Will find out on the 14th of September, then!

(return from MLE, is this gonna work? It's a 772, not sure if ER or not, is this only for ERs?)

I thought all SQ's 772s are ERs? Just different configurations.......

The 772s have derated engines (9V-SQ*, 9V-SR* if i remember rightly).
772ERs are 9V-SY* I believe, with spacebeds installed

Yes, they are - but the SQ and SR series as zxcvbn says below - have derated engines. They do have the tankage of an true blue ER iirc.

The pure ER's are SV* series. SY's are 300's.

                      SQ*/SR* 772s are using Trent 884s.

SV* 772s are using Trent 892s.

Same engines just different software versions.

                        I'm doing two separate J legs in a week's time, both on 772ERs (ICN-SIN, SIN-ATH).

I'm curious to see if I can spot it.
