9V-SIA, besides the slightly lower fare, is there anything else noteworthy?

Tried to book F/R return on 3 separate dates this month and failed!

Full either going or coming back!

Yes -I read the original post too, but according to the Awards Chart I printed out in around June 2010 (stated to be "effective 10 January 2010), the fine print provides that ..."No redemption is available for the Singapore Airlines Suites." Strange how they keep changing the terms!! How does one keep up!

Almost denied check in in Singapore, took them good 30 mins calling their supervisor to check if my ticket is valid

That is something unforgiveable. For SQ to give a reward ticket and then try to find ways to deny boarding or use a pretext of questioning/verifying is simply not appropriate.

I really wondered about the situation abt the "A" tickets before the pilots revolted.
