They don't actually need stickers as they are aware of who is QPP and TPP from the passenger manifest.

As starrynight000 says, they stopped about 3 months ago, shortly after the changes. There is a thread about this somewhere. They say people had got hold of QPP and TPP stickers and were 'abusing the system'.

Got a very nice FSS onboard my SIN-CGK flight last week.
I was served my meal first and she addressed me by name (I was in Y).

On two flights I was on, it was full in Y, which I was in, one was from HCM to SIN then from SIN to HKG, on those flights, the LSS in charge of the cabin came to me and asked me of my meal choice. The meal was served to me first ahead of the rest. Guess in those situation they want the priority pax have their choice of meal in case it run out.

It doesn't happen to me often enough, that's why when I got such a treatment, I thought it deserves a reporting back here.

After posting on my hot towels situation, now, the "greetings" game. I really don't know what factors determine the greetings. And yes, my rate of success on these matters is very low. But again, I believe the crew is the factor.
I was in Y recently flying down from SIN to DPS. I boarded the plane very early. A blue kebaya girl was at the door, and in answering her question, I said my seat was 45G. She immediately without looking at my BP said welcome back Mr. SQ LPP, and she showed me my seat. She offered to get newspapers and magazines, and kept using my name in the conversation. Another blue girl stopped by soon, and welcomed me as well as offered any thing I need. Of course later on with the full flight, I was a bit embarrassed. Yes, a LSS, a CS, a LS, as well as the IFS, they went to greet me and to say something good all the time. Yes, I got the meal first, together with all other pax who has special meals. It was wonderful.
But 8 hours later, on the return flight back to SIN on SQ 497, everything went down in different direction. No greetings. Not even anyone say anything by acknowledging my name.
Thus, again, the crew does make a difference.
Just sharing my latest experience here. Indeed a nice gesture when the crew greets me on board.

Clearly, inexperienced crew who didn't know they had a legend onboard.

I agree several times crew is the deciding factor.
There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways

sadly, crew almost never greet me by name when I board, or when I am travelling in Y, very seldom do I get a personal greeting from IFS.

I think it is a nice gesture, to recognize and greet PPS/TPP by name regardless of class of travel.

Took 2 QF domestic flights last yr and both sets of crew greeted all pax by name at the door upon boarding and checking the boarding passes! Impressed! Only was greeted by name less than 3 times in my last 25 yrs of flying SQ

is your name difficult to pronounce ycp81?? I usually get greeted at the door by name when they read the boarding pass on SQ as a KFEG. Been escorted to my individual seat in Y recently by some of the mid-cabin 'welcoming' crew.

I am just a normal KF member (no status = no greetings? ) and don't even have any FFP on Qantas. And my surname is very easy to pronounce!

LOL and fully agree! I'd rather just be left alone. It's only the Walter Mitty's that get upset about not being acknowledged as someone special in front of other passengers. These folks mostly live alone in bedsits in Crawley and go plane spotting at weekends? Get a life.

I live alone. But don't go plane spotting. I also have a life. So I am not one of those folks.
