Anyway, HIGHLY doubt they still have it in stock..
Just the 2 that were available. They had some paint chip on the engines and some other areas which I can't remember. Otherwise, the production model is a good replica of the actual aircraft (9V-SGA). I have the SQ A330, 777-300ER and 747-400 (Star Alliance livery) by Phoenix. They are all excellent reproductions right down to the registration number.

This is an airline forum. What were you expecting?

People here have a fetish for planes, airline/mileage programmes, plane food, 'nubile' SQ girls, seat pitch, sexy legshots, IFE systems, complex routings, airplane seat charts, safety demos, airplane seats/beds, duty-free shopping, toilet seats, amenity kits...

and EK and EK's exceptional showers and EK's limo service!

Such as? Jolly good fun here isn;t it old boy? Keep droppoing by every few weeks or so just for the excitement, in between flying RTW on One World or Star Alliance excluding SQ.

Out off that list I will go for the SQ girl fetish. Could then also include the sexy legshots and airplane beds.

              Showers:
Dream on, dahling. I have zilch interest in what geriatrics do to themselves in the EK F showers.

Mile High Club programme – different tiers
              Analogy:
BA Blue: Requirement to complete tedious application forms -YOU
BA Premier: Invitation only Premier programme -ME
Now YOU eat your heart out!

              Jolly good fun:
Interesting to know that you have to visit an internet forum such as SQT for scintillating exchanges to keep your excitement up.

Not if it goes anymore off topic it wont, it will be coming to an end very soon.

Please everyone remember this is a thread on SIA model planes so lets keep it to this topic.

Maybe the 744 will eventually be in a new heritage series. Who knows?

Oh, it can be old man, especially when you drop by.

We we were under the impression you dropped by after you'd had a few.

The 747-400 in the "1000th 747" livery is already included in Heritage Set 2, IIRC. The regular colors (the previous scheme with engine logos, etc.) already appeared in the Herpa collection - one with Star Alliance logo and one without. And there were inflight sale versions, too.

The Jubilee and Tropical 744 planes were already produced by BigBird and Starjets, respectively.

The only 744s not yet produced in 1/500 scale are the following:

                            744 "largest 747-400 fleet" logo
744 in new/ current colors (the one with the bigger titles and bird on the tail, etc.)
744 Star Alliance colors (there were/are two versions - the SQ and MH-lease planes)
