    +1.

I remain very fond of the 772ER's and the SpaceBed's, mainly due to how much I have flown them. I do agree that Krisworld on them is not up to scratch any more though, which is a shame as when they first started flying the system was up with the best around at that time.

Sorry, I have not taken those 772ERs yet, but are they really that inferior?

For Business Class in 772ERs, I saw some pictures from the net, It seems that even they are not the most up-to-date product, but I cannot say it is totally out-dated.

With 2-2-2 in 777's wide cabin, lie-flat seat, AVOD, I think those 772ERs are still in good condition to fly.

When talking about retrofitting the 772ERs, what would you expect from SQ? Putting the long-haul seat in 1-2-1 setting or the regional seat in 2-2-2 setting? If the answer is the latter one, is that worth to do the retrofit?
As stated the AVOD is not that bad but it is getting rather tired and old compared to the newer Krisworld. Not sure about the A345's as I have never flown them on SQ.

MAN_Flyer, yeah even the systems on KL and EK are a lot better than Krisworld.

Yup its definitely the 777-200ER with Spacebeds..

As many have mentioned, the Spacebeds are excellent to lounge in but I don't quite like sleeping on it (as I sleep on my side/tummy). Prefer the Diamond seats ("new" 777-300ER J seats) for sleeping.

Also, if you're doing this route only this is possibly the better product for your buck.

Availability's quite good too! One of the few destinations in Europe where Saver awards are actually available

They've been updated. On par with A380/77W

I do like the SpaceBeds, but I have to remember not to overdo the lie flat function cuz I often can't get it back upright again! Then the IFS would usually need to come over and help me and crank it back upright again manually. I wished there was a single button you could press that would readjust everything to take off and landing positions.

As far as the IFE, I tend to enjoy the content of KrisWorld offerings, so don't notice too much if there are actually less offerings on a particular aircraft model.

I just flew the route. It was a B777-200 contary to what most people say at the ER variant. Surprisingly the customer service at SQ gave the wrong info too! The seat selection right from the start was a B777-200 so I guess it wasnt a change of operations last minute. It was 9V-SVI. My return is also on a B777-200.

Surprisingly it was a extremely comfortable product on the older aircraft.

Ok.. I may have read it wrongly off the plane's mainframe. But Im dead sure it was a B777-200. The safety card and video and features tells me that!

                          Dude.. I'm serious, it's a 777-200ER

CPH is circa 6,195 nautical miles from SIN.

Take a look here and you'll understand what I mean...

                          It IS a 777-200ER

We know what aircraft it was, you have given us the registration.

IIRC, the safety card for the 777-200ER will still only state 777-200.

the 200 and 200ER have the same door configuration. in fact you wouldn't be able to differentiate them if you are just looking at their exterior.

if i am not wrong, the engines are similiar too. just that the 200ER is tweaked to 892 and 200 is tweaked to 884.

SRN and SQI will be "upgraded" to 892 soon and plying the AKL and CHC routes.
