She can thank Air Asia for that! All masked up with adrenalin pumpng report.

Back to OP,I guess it all depends on the crew on that particular flight. Some are strict and some are not. There are no written rules on this one.

Generally, if a pax brings another pax who is also from preminum class (J) the tolerance level is way higher. Assuming if the pax was brought from Y class, then there will be wachful eyes on the time spent in R.

Another point is that if a pax from another class spents too much time in R,then it sort of invades other privacy, hence other pax from R class if any.A complain from them and the crew will be in hot soup and not be able to enjoy their night stop as they will have to face a query on return to base!

On a suite flight, we have had a guest visiting us. The crew was quite understanding. But we also quite reciprocal in the sense that the guest and us did not make it a lengthy affair.

Good point. This brings to mind a similar post sometime back from another SQTalker complaining that the cabin crew had brought another pax up from a 'lower' class so as to facilitate his tight connection, that this diluted his enjoyment of the First Class experience. What's the crew to do? Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Have you checked your blind spot lately?
