Yes, yet paying S$8k for J is way out of my budget for a good night's rest.Converting the frontmost section of Y on the lower deck into a 2-4-2 configuration with slightly more legroom for Y+ would be perfect!

Have to agree with this portion of the post! From my perspective (6'2) I would welcome the Y+ configuration on all SQ flights.

Alternatively, IMHO, why not fly J on Qatar, Turkish or Air France LHR-SIN? One can easily get fares coming in at about SGD3-4k coming out of LHR. Even Emirates can be had for about SGD4.4k.
