    ...a warm welcome home..Desert Traveller!
( as they keep reminding me every time I land at Changi )

This is 11A/K on an A380..

    1. No window

    2. Narrows to the front

On 772, regional J is still has great seat for day flights.
Anyways, SIN-HAN is such a short flight, any seat in J will do.

Benjamin...I am as excited as you are, as I will be flying BUSINESS class [first time ever] on SQ232 from Sydney to Singapore, and I will be on the refurbished B777-300

btw, personally..it doesn't really matter where we seat, as business class would be better than economy

        I know - LEG ROOM!

What is the etiquette in business class? How much can I "get"? Can I get a glass or two of champers during take off and during the flight - or is it still very much rigid like Economy?

I got my seats that everyone told me about - except in the B777 I went row 14 as 11 was already taken. Ho hum.

I am sure they would give you as much as you like

Similar story for the 772 to HAN, not having flown the regional product, what's the recommendation from those who have?
I would avoid 11A/K on the 380 as they are windowless, as you can see on that picture provided by 9V-SIA. 17A/K on the other hand are great seats, as long as you don't mind being next to the galley. It is inevitably a little bit noisier but it is kept to a minimum and the crew are aware of the seats opposite. They also provide a nice spot to watch the world's best crew in action.

For SQ175/6 to and from HAN I usually go for 12A/K on those regional birds.

Thanks 9V-SIA and MAN Flyer for the pics and advice. I will ring up SQ this weekend to see what seats are available (since my TA forgot to enter my KF details on the reservation). On the 388, 17A sounds like a good choice, failing that I'll aim for 15A...

MAN Flyer, one more question...why not 11A/K on the regional seats? Is the bulkhead restricting leg room?

11AC HK don't exist on the regional layout. The bulkhead row is 12AC HK (there is 11DF in the center - but that's not what you want)

Thanks SQflyergirl. My bad...I shouldn't be posting on a Friday evening after a week at work.
