My point was "Clueless" or, in other words, "This is no way to run an airline"?!! To be clear, in such a large, public Company, you would have a reasonable right to expect that that such "Cracks" would have been anticipated in advance if such major policy changes had been fully thought through by an informed professional management team?

The cluelessness of SQ Management is universally applied. Corporate customers and PPS members are equally disrespected without any kind of discrimination? SQ is an equal opportunity airline!!

This approach is so typically inward looking to the extent that maybe, with any luck, the whole Board will eventually disappear up its own orrifice?

BTW SJJ, your link doesn't work.

Solitaire members might use the Amex Voucher (50K):

Overnight in Suites SIN-NRT, Upgrade from Business:

    135.000 - 50.000 = 85.000 KF miles

    35% off promo = 87.750 KF miles

PPS members might fly to Hong Kong (35K):

    75.000 - 35.000 = 40.000 KF miles

    35% off promo = 48.750 KF miles

I am hoping for the best when SQ changes its agreement with the rest of *A for milage redemption in September...

Remaining issue now is only the high F/J premium over other quality carriers BUT the F marketing challenge would now have been less of a problem except that, unfortunately, other carriers remain much better value for money in Whalejet F (EK showers, limos, direct boarding from lounge, better food and wines both onboard and in lounges etc) Dragging SQ Management towards a winning business strategy which shows some marketing finesse and sensitivity towards customer loyalty remains like pulling teeth.

This SQ Management team seem to be absolutely clueless?
It is a step in the right direction...can't please everyone and never will. I suspect most who paid for suite have enough cash not to be too bothered about it. I still prefer SQ due to the quality of their cabin crew compared to EK....but again it is personal choice when we start comparing to showers or limousine. I think limousine is a good idea for SQ to adopt particularly for tiny Singapore cost next to nothing compared to a paid 1st class ticket.

However, SQ has probably lost many of their loyal customers through the PPS changes and some enhancement required including TPR access and reinstalling LPPS. So it is better not to be too in extreme love (or giving it extreme loyalty) with SQ and when that something upsets you, you might swing to the other extreme.
