Finally SQ Suites show a F class inventory!

I had one such golden opportunity, but unfortunately some alarmed fellow SQTalkers persuaded me not to switch seats next to CCS and that thought it 'wasn't the time' to ask him about certain issues that I thought needed addressing. Shame, as I doubt the chance will arise again.

I completely disagree with the "timing" thought. If anything, it would have been the perfect time! You, as an extremely valuable customer, chatting with him, an executive there to celebrate a milestone and be with his clients.

Exactly...and well put.

As mentioned before, a majority simply vent to their neighbors, on forums, etc, but never to the CEOs of the companies themselves.

I am pretty much sure that we will see F coming back. As the KrisFlyer revamp will be announced later this year, it might go hand in hand with that...

It is interesting, however, that despite all the cutbacks throughout the years, the airline industry in particular will keep it going until the public finally pushes back. ...the saga continues with F class on A380...the sticking point is actually with the pilots who are entitled to travel in F class (excluding Suites)...SQ mgmt were not agreeing to allow travel in Suites but the pilots stated if it has F coded inventory then they should be allowed to travel...so SQ swiftly removed F inventory which lasted all of 16 hours for sale.

Very interesting insight. And yet another data point - after the PPS devaluation, Krisflyer "enhancement", etc. - that this is a corporation no longer focused on the customer.

I guess this is how great companies decline into mediocrity and die...

My waitlisted redemption booking has also been cancelled. I know some people here on SQ Talk managed to change their flights to F on A380 while the window of opportunity was there - has anyone had any problems with the affected bookings? ie. did they rebook back to your original flights now that F is not offered on A380? will be interesting to know...

It's a bigger shame if you let a few unfriendly ones put u off and let the work of the friendly ones go to waste.

From the nitty gritty that only an SQ fanatic would notice to the technical discussion by the plane freaks to the romantic air travel pics (anonymous footy pics and "blueberries" included),

how can anyone not keep tuning to the adventures.

I am glad to have found this forum and learned a lot from the well-travelled/ well-heeled/ well-read etc.

So, do not let a few speed bums deter you for the journey itself is half the thrill.

However, SQ has probably lost many of their loyal customers through the PPS changes and some enhancement required including TPR access and reinstalling LPPS. So it is better not to be too in extreme love (or giving it extreme loyalty) with SQ and when that something upsets you, you might swing to the other extreme.

I have to agree with Lioncity...i was on TG F from BKK - HKG last week and had buggy fetching me when we depart in BKK and arrive in HKIA as well..

Just an update - F class is now completely removed from A380.Gone back to what it was - just R class.

Seatcounter.com shows continues to show "F" blanked out on a random date in November for SIN-LHR, SQ318 & 322.
