    SIA have retired only 4 77Ws and they are 9V-SWA, 9V-SWD, 9V-SWE and 9V-SWF

I’m also seeing a “2007 777-300ER” for sale on aicjetscorp.
Which one would this be? Previously they mentioned withdrawing 5 of the oldest 77Ws. However, SWF was delivered 2006. So this “2007 77W” has to be another one.

But it has had money spent on it since delivery. A lot of was spent during the repairs to the wing. As a result it won't depreciate at the same time as the others.

However its likely that it was on ground for sometime for extensive repairs that it still have quite a bit of useful hours before the next major overhaul which is probably why its not retired yet. Some of remaining 77Ws will be flying until 2024 when the new 779s arrives, and SWB would be retired then.

Maybe the work has made the aircraft heavier so less desirable?

More likely: They invested that money into an asset and it hasn’t fully deprecated yet.

It was estimated the repair cost is about USD70-100million upwards, SQ would most probably want to squeeze out more hours. A GE90-115B engine cost about USD24-27 million, wing approximately USD50 million and other structural fix. We won't know how much the final bill was but I do think insurance did cover at least a bit.
