According to the April Star Alliance timetable, SQ861/862 is currently operated by 777-200s.

Geez... a while ago they changed from 772 to 77W and now they changed it again.

Any idea where did that bird go to?

Just back from KIX. Heard from crew...

There is a possibility that the 773A, and not A330, will replace the 772 on this route

Makes sense to me

Prior to Oct 08, there were 12 flights a week between SIN and KIX

Now it is down to a daily flight

A330 would represent a further downgauge IMHO ( 30 J 255 Y ) compared to 772 ( 30 J 293 Y )

A 773A with 8 F 42 J 283 Y would better meet the demand

My flights were full both ways
