Alas it was just a typo. Still it's an offer that one can derive a lot of value out of if one is travelling with someone else.

Just booked 2 adults 1 infant in economy heathrow-brisbane in Nov 09 £871 for all of us including all Taxes

We flew the same route in Feb this year and cost us £2100

These are still being advertised on the SQ site as well as through many, many agents - I just got another email from Flight Centre about it. However, they are a bit of con, in that, there is sweet FA availability...

Currently LHR-SIN has availability on about 10 dates in November (use the netflights calendar to check) - note, November is after the astronomical increase in APD ex-UK, so sub-GBP300 fares are not technically possible. There are next to no connecting flights available to most other SEA/Aus/NZ destinations - to the point that netflights is no longer advertising the Aus/NZ fares

There is definitely something Ryanair-esque about the continued promotion of unavailable fares. I wonder how long before SQ is reported to the Advertising Standards watchdog...
