Hmm what did you do at LAX? They have those free ziplocks prior to security check! The TSA must have had screamed out about putting all liquids in one clear ziplock bag. And yet you arrived at NRT with all those stuff everywhere in your carry-on! I wonder what you did onboard!

Well, I was flying from SIN to LAX. I did get them from LA when I flew back to PEN, but of course, I misplaced my ziplocks and didn't see any lying around when I was packing to get back to LA.

Well, I had to do a mini-repacking when I was on-board (before arriving NRT) Lets just say I was a little overjoyed by the Krug and that might have affected my packing skills

Sorry for my error in the direction of the plane.
But, still, from Changi, there are plastic ziplocks available as well.
And may be your joy for Krug had affected you, as you said.

I just did SQ11/12 in F last week.

I would add a few points:

          1) on SQ11, you can leave all your things onboard at NRT, but on SQ12 (USA-bound) you have to take everything with you.

          2) Not once on my journey (SFO/LAX/NRT/SIN/CMB/MLE/DXB/JNB/CPT and back) did I have to take out any liquids and put them in clear bags.

          3) You have effectively about 30 minutes to yourself after factoring-in the time it takes to dismembark, walk through the terminal, and re-embark. So, don't dilly-dally if you want a shower, a snack, an email and a poke around the (one and only) funny little shop.

          4) Beware the internet terminals and their Japanese keyboards, unless you are familiar with the language! I mis-keyed and from then on I could only produce Japanese characters!

Now they have the 2000 Dom, it beats the pants off the Krug. It's so much more subtle....

As in, only Dom is available on the flight?

No, they still have the Krug. But I think they used to have the 98 Dom (could be wrong about that), but the 2000 Dom is much better.

AFAIK, when being grounded, Dom and Krug are available on long-haul flights. Thus, on SQ11/12 both are available. I think what maxmin meant is that Dom served was from year 2000, and it's better than Krug.

Paging DeltaFlyingProf. Please do test experiment on your flight this weekend! Dom 2000, or Krug?

Ah okay, thanks for the clarifications maxmin & SQ LPP.
I am not a wine expert, but between 1998 Dom and the Krug, I prefer the Dom.

It was the 99 up until recently when they switched to 2000.

                        You must try the 2000!

I agree, it's more subtle and not as sweet as the 98.
