    - Regular size mugs for tea and coffee for breakfast have been introduced.

C Class Nuts are now served warm

I almost couldn't believe it but on SQ 221 last night, SQ actually warmed the nuts served in C class. I checked with the FAs and they confirmed that the new SOP is for them to warm both the nuts and the saucers.

Nice image UMD - do you have a picture of the warm nuts and saucer?

Nope, because my camera did not have a heat sensor to capture just how warm the nuts and the saucer was.

Was going to report that here but forgot about it.
I noticed that the nuts were warm on my recent flights in C on 77W.

Great observations UMD. I too had the new warm nuts and large coffee mugs on SIN-CDG earlier this week.

Me thinks Singapore_Air might need one of those infrared cameras to capture these images, and also to measure the temperature of the nuts!

You mean SQ is finally catching up with the American carriers in in-flight service???

Seriously, I used to wonder why SQ and BA and other such premium carriers served nuts in those cheap foil packages... such a shame, given the fuss over the wine menu. This is one thing the US carriers (eg NWA, DL) had right from the start.

Will there be a rant next time... "the nuts are not warm anymore"......

My nuts were not warmed on SQ25.

I think it is because SQ25 is on the old 744 and not the new 77W neither the 380.

SQ 220 on 744 still passes out peanuts in foil packages.

By the way, why were you on C? Shouldn't you be on F?

Maybe you should wear thermal underwear next time?
