Hi everyone, may I know if the schedules for the A350 flights have stabilised, now that SMC is back in service? I am booked in Y on the AMS-SIN sector at the end of next week. Current seatmap shows an A350. Hope there aren't any surprises in store...

The old purple seats were actually really comfortable and the seat backs had a little enclosure with a piece of mesh you could hook things over or around.
They ruined the Y interior by changing over to hard unyielding Givenchy-beige tarpaulins that bunch up and corrugate during a long flight right below the "cheeks". If the screens they installed are bigger, it can't be more than by an half-inch or so and they are just as ancient. The mesh hook thing disappeared- it was perfect to hang watches, glasses or headphones off.
They have to start prioritising getting these old ancient planes off long-haul routes and that is what the first batch of A350s were meant to do until they started having brainstorms over what else they could use them for. CPH isn't an emerging market- it has a huge network of connecting flights and SQ351 was at 100% load capacity in both classes.
