  • Free stuff On SQ

Now we do have some free stuff that we can take from SQ like Playing cards, teddy bears and writing pad. Besides the stuff in the toilet, what else can be taken offboard for free? #不要脸

Anything and everything can be taken off the aircraft, if one can find a bag to carry 'em all, and have skin akin to that of my buffalo cousin to stomach that frown and stare from fellow passengers for that distasteful behavior.

Kids are usually given small soft toys or fun packs (with crayons, colouring books etc).

If you ask, there are usually playing cards available.

No harm taking a toothbrush or two from the bathroom. Those can be quite useful later on.

They recycle Y menus, but I don't think anyone will mind if you really want to keep the menu as a souvenir.

I don't think any of the magazines on board are meant to be taken off the plane.

Best to leave the safety card and lifejacket onboard...

Everything can be taken off. Lifejackets, safety cards, wall paneling. Galley equipment, carpets, and if you can manage, Who wouldn't want an Airbus A380 throttle quadrant in their living room?

Since you're such an aficionado, I'd recommend taking those. You'll then get the added bonus of getting to stay at Changi* for longer than you paid for on your ticket.

According to the LSS that offered to give me playing cards, the airline has plans to discontinue the cards once the stocks are depleted as they are not popular and in management's opinion,Krisworld is more than adequate in keeping passengers entertained. Another item that will appear into history!

Hmm... So we should start asking for playing cards to make it more popular again?

my family had a habit of taking Garuda's and the now-defunct Sempati Air's cutlery.
Myself, I had a habit of taking inflight magazine and headphone.

No longer doing it since about 15 years ago
