First time? SQ's inaugural A380 to Tokyo Narita was diverted to Nagoya due to bad weather, so NGO was actually the first airport in Japan to welcome the SQ A380, unofficially.

never knew about it... so thanks for the info. All I hope now is that they remove the ugly old 773 at HND with A380 or another A330. (the one that departs HND at night)

Shame I am not able to participate on this 380 flight up to NGO tomorrow (well, 20 mins into Saturday) but I am sure the TR from the member of the SQTalk Special Events Team who is on SQ672 will be well worth reading.
