My first ever flights planned with SQ

Well obviously I meant snack, but actually I'm quite amused by the prospect of the cabin crew administering smack service to annoying passengers.

Now I am getting confused.

On my KrisFlyer page, it says SQ12 will leave NRT at 19.15 on 28 Oct and arrive at LAX early afternoon on 29 Oct!!

But when I make the booking, it said it would arrive early afternoon on the 28th - the same day as I left.

Which is correct? As I need to book my LA hotel soon.

LAX is 15 - 16 hours behind Singapore. This means if you leave 28, you arrive 28 as well

You should book your hotel nite for 28-Oct in LA.
SQ12 departs Tokyo Narita at 19:15 28/10 and arrives at LAX 13:30 28/10 US Pacific Time.
You gain a day when you cross the Pacific Ocean from west (Asia) to east (Americas).
