A380 - too big? too expensive? Or worth it?

MAS on 21 Jun has made an anoouncement that they are officially now looking into the possibility of cancelling their 6 A380s order due to "frequent delays" in getting the planes.

Quite enjoy flying the whalejet actually... Don't go out of my way to fly on it when booking flights, arrival / departure times are generally my yardstick...

Have flown both SQ & QF models, and if it wasn't for the "heavy set" pax "seated" next to me on my QF flight, I would say I've had 2 perfectly sound slumbers on both - and that's travelling in whY no less..

believed MH doesnt really have the capacity to fill the A380s even if it replaces their 744s on their twice daily KUL-LHR - or MH have to resort to heavy discounting to fill its A380s which then doesnt make good economic sense too.
