No glass slipper, but seem to have left my memory behind - have no recollection of getting from Hakkasan to the tube station

I went into London late, and had to fly back to SIN with the 747-400 at 6.15 pm....

I took SQ317 LHR-SIN on Fri and came across the chap who followed the A380 checking out the IFE. He works for Panasonic. Poor chap as I never see him working so hard as he tried to sort out the IFE which the cabin crew could not deal with.

Got my special seat in the Main deck right close to the 'hatch'.

Anyway, the Panasonic chap told me that the my crew was from the inaugral and they stayed on in London for a few more days than usual.

Initial observations were :

• That it was a more hectic job for the cabin crew as they were hurrying around a lot more than on a 744. Never seen such a stressed LFS.
• Sitting on the main deck also mean more crowded feeling and due to the Easter travel period, kids were crying and running around everywhere. Grrrr.
• New noises from A380 compared to 744.
• I liked the new toilets as I felt it was that bit more spacious.

Great A380 Inaugural report!

So will the SIN-NRT A380 Inaugural flight be same? I will be on SQ 637 on MAY 20... I am at 20A.

Anyway, I love the singing with the A380 landing at LHR! Definitely a great way to fly!

Just curious - any souvenirs for this particular inaugural flight besides the baggage tag at check in and the pin at the jetway?
