Food time SQ221 being an evening departure has a dinner and continental breakfast service just before landing in SYD.

Nuts indirectly warmed by the small dish - very yummy.

Nice salmon salad starter - dunno why they put tiny corn bits inside - looked a bit out of place

The Sam Leong creation, beef with XO sauce and noodles Very yummy too!

Ben and Jerry's ice cream - we did not eat the cheese and fruits so it was a bit early for the icecream, it was a bit hard when we got it. (remember, we have no teeth )

Prior to us commenting to the chief steward "All our mummy's friends trip reports have no diet coke in the self service bar area - seems it's true"

After us commenting to the chief steward

Passing near Christmas Island! How nice! Merry Christmas uncles and aunties of SQTalk

Nice little cutout to hold your headphones

At the front of the cabin - there is a stairwell. Mummy said there were 12 very very nice sweets downstairs, so we went to get them. But the nice Flight attendant lady said we couldn't have those sweets. So we went back upstairs disappointed.

Identity hidden to protect the innocent: A bear on this flight (who shall remain nameless), took off his clothes and waited for his pyjamas. When told that J pax did not get pyjamas - he turned a crimson shade of red.

Warning: Image contains nudity - viewer discretion advised

After all that, it was time to go to sleep

Well, maybe not .......... the two of us climbing into Aunty P's bed

Wakey time - look how big the A380 wings are!

          Almost there!

          Over some Sydney suburb

A chance to play with Aunty P for a bit before landing

Ooh! Back in Sydney! Seconds from landing

Mummy pointed out something interesting. Only inboard engines (whatever THAT means) - have thrust reversers. She lost us about halfway through that sentence......

We know what THIS is now! It's a bunch of blue virgins!

Finally - a pic of us and mummy!

To sum it up: we like this airplane very much. It is quiet, comfortable and smooth. Chief steward Chong and his lovely crew of 8 took good care of us too.

Hope you enjoyed reading our report!

            Merry Christmas SQTalk xxxxxxxx

Hugs hugs hugs from Leroy and Bubba

Looks like you've been having a wonderful time so far, Leroy and Bubba.

Just a few observations and questions.
                    1. The red mood lighting is so 'red light district'! Were there other colours? When are the colours turned on?

                    2. Are the side bins as tiny as the ones on the upper deck of BA club? (I'm sorry I'm not good with plane models. I think jhm might be able to tell you which ones I'm referring to.)

                    3. Xmas Islands - I think it would have read Christmas Islands (Singapore) many years ago.

                    4. Is the nameless bear in his birthday suit Leroy by any chance?

                    5. 'Nuts indirectly warmed by the small dish'?! - sometimes I think you bears are not quite that innocent.

Sorry for the questions which may seem silly to premium travellers. I don't fly J or F, which explains why I'm clueless about a lot of things.

BTW, you bears must be so proud to be escorting two very pretty ladies!

Thank you! Nice pictures and reports! Hope Mummy will post the menu. Looks like in the MENU forum, there is no A380 menu posted yet.

Would you ask Mummy whether the nuts was warmed in the oven, or just the ramekin was warm?

I know I'm digressing here but thought I'd just mention this: To get that nice crunchy texture in peanut sauce for satays, the nuts should be roasted in the oven first, then ground.

                              I miss satays.

I thought the peanuts should be roasted on a hot wok.. not in the oven...
