It was just like coming home! I'd half forgotten about:

    * the really hot and really wet thick towels with that signature scent - before and after takeoff, before and after the meal and prior to landing (does the number of times depend on the crew or the route ?)

    * SQ's superb food and the "full works" meal service of satay, dessert, cheese, pralines etc

    * the crew who can be wonderful at times - in particular, the IFS and LSS yesterday were really good (although the LSS seemed abrupt and unsmiling)

    * the safety video tune

    * the SQ kebaya which on some of the girls really does reveal far too much to be decent (IM very HO!)

    * the very comfortable Raffles sockettes

    * constant top ups of water etc throughout the flight

but it all came flooding back. Good memories and experiences indeed!

2 more SQ flights for me in the next few days.

And your LPP run wasn't enough? ... it will be a fun flight on the 2nd Jan. You can play bad PITA and I play good PITA

That was my original intention of my Dec trip; to spend my $180 vouchers. Now I have to figure out how to spend $280 for the next set. Have nothing in mind to purchase. Hmmm...

Sure. Why not? Who would be too drunk with Krug and Dom?

Can I get you drunk with Dom since I like Krug?

Looks like I had the last glass of Krug last night. But I decline politely when the sweet LSS wanted to open a new bottle.

                  After how many glasses though?
Maybe I just get that little bit more thirsty.

Greetings from Sheraton Lounge at LHR. A red eye flight to morrow to get back to Scotland and the holidays are all over and I now face a new 2008. Ho hum...

SQ LPP, I had a fab time at FRA FCT. Nice one. Met one HON as well. After landing, I followed jjpb3 and your instructions. Got ferried to the FCT. Met by a FCT concierge (?). Shown around and then had a nice refreshing shower before tucking into a nice afternoon (very late) lunch, with full restaurant service. When the time came, I was escorted and driven to my plane. LH FCT and the service is definitely a real service differentiator.

I can confirm the truth of that statement. Looks like 'sleep' got the better of us, after being lubricated by several flutes of Krug.

Yes, SQ LPP, she was very attentive to you as I have observed. he he he.

Hope you have had a nice flight back home from NRT.

I thought she was very attentive to both of us. Well, after reading so many posts about how on board SQ service declining, from this end of the year and early new year trip, I must admit that SQ still has the edge. So far, overall the on board service were still excellent. And remember, I flew other airlines very recent as well. Thus, when taking SQ, I felt SQ still has better on board service overall.
And again, SKL staff at Changi still loves me.

Huh ? 7pm and you're holed up in the Sheraton Skyline ? Central London is only a HEX ride away!
