Hi

Just a short introduction: my name is Gard and I live in Stavanger on the south west coast of Norway. My wife Nikki and I like to travel (ref the trip reports on my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com ), I like to drive my Harley, cooking, wine, going to the movies, play squash etc. Over the years I have flown quite a bit (according to FlightMemory just over 1000 hours in the air) and some of the trips have been business trips. And when I travel for business it is of course nice to have something to do so I write about the hotels I stay at (posted on TripAdvisor) and now also the flight experiences :-) I finally got to fly the A380 this year on Emirates but I have actually never flow Singapore Airlines yet and it is of course one of my aviation dreams :-) I guess that is about it...feel free to ask if you got any questions

Wow, that is a long trip :-) But you should have gone for the western fjords instead in my opinion...it is more spectacular than the city....I took some Singaporeans up to Preikestolen where I live and they were impressed at least (see below). Get in touch if you need any help regarding Norway

I'm Haf. Joined not too long ago and enjoying the discussions - probably b/c I'm a closet plane geek.

I've been at the same company for 5 years and it's been filled with weeks and weeks of travel which has led to many fun adventures and experiences along the way. I've kept my travel schedule posted on my blog if you want to see (http://thefrequentflyer.blogspot.com).

Hi folks,

I'm new to this forum and I think I like it. You guys even arrange to meet up in airport lounges when traveling??

Btw, there're many abbreviations used in this forum, is there a list provided that i can learn to decode all this? I know many of them are city/airport codes, but they look foreign to me.
