Rather unfortunately, clicking on that link shows that they are renovating.

This thread is actually coming in very handy for an imminent trip to HKG

There's also plenty of Michelin-starred restaurants in the HKG guide..

There are so many tiny eateries serving such fantastic local food... I dont even eat brekkie in the hotel when there.

I recommend hotels in Causeway Bay area. Plenty of good food there too.... You do know Kowloon is the 'dirty side'....
I'm up for anything good actually, and since moving to Europe almost 7 years ago, good Asian cuisine becomes a rarity for me

Personal preferences.......but I prefer Kowloon to the Island.

November would be an excellent time of year to hit Lamma or Sai Kung if you're into seafood.

There's hardly a bad Chinese restaurant in HK (don't include fastfood). If they were not up to the very high standards of local taste, it won't last a month.

I agree totally. Whilst I appreciate Michelin for their ratings of western food, I and many others think that their views should be taken with a big pinch of salt for Asian food.

For example, according to Michelin, Lung King Heen and Sun Tung Lok are the best Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong but that's nonsense (not just me who thinks that but also HK friends who've tried LKH etc).

This is good news for me

What about tea house? I read about Sinmei Tea which supposedly serve lots of matcha snacks and great variety of teas

Where are the HKG-based folk on this board? They would be the best to recommend where to eat.
