I’m posting here a number of meals from a recent Premium Economy return booking from Australia to US via Singapore so that everyone can see some of the new offerings and presentation of the refreshed PEY catering.

Appetiser: Fresh Bocconcini Mozzarella with Tomatoes and Cucumber Salad

Main (Book The Cook): Char Siew Wonton Mee – Wonton noodles tossed with pork lard and seasoning garnished with roasted pork char siew, pork dumplings and leafy greens.

Dessert: Chocolate Ganache Cake

Main (Book The Cook): Lu Rou Fan (Taiwanese Braised Pork rice bowl) – Slow braised fatty pork belly in Chinese five-spice powder, dark and light soy sauce, egg, vegetables and steamed jasmine rice.

Dessert: Toffee Apple Pecan Slice with Caramel sauce

Appetiser: Yoghurt-Oat Cream and Mango with desiccated coconut crumble

Main (Book The Cook): Croque Madame – Traditional croque monsieur topped with fried egg, served with wilted spinach and roasted cherry tomato.

Bakery: Croissant with butter and jam

Main (Book The Cook): Roasted Chicken Rice –Roasted five spice marinated chicken thigh served with pandan flavoured chicken rice, bok choy and chilli sauce.

Really nice pics, SQ228! Thanks for sharing. I am so glad SQ has finally upped their game for PEY catering. Everything looks really great!

Just a question: for glassware, did they use real glasses, or plastic?

That is slightly disappointing to hear...

On a recent flight, SQ24 SIN-JFK in PEY, I did get at least one of my beverages in a real glass.

AC's PEY on the YVR-SIN nonstop used both real glasses and plastic.

QF's PEY, which sets the standard, uses real glassware, and proper ceramic coffee/tea cups, throughout.
