      SQ award search not working?

      Paging KVS...

Is there an issue with the SQ award search? I always get the following error message:

      KVS Availability Tool

      Data Source Error [R-3]

"We could not find the page you were looking for"

      [...]
I get this message with cookies switched on or switched off.

On a related note, I have a few questions about the tool and its use of cookies. I am working on PCs with high privacy settings in IE most of the time and a number of KVS functions do not work properly because first party cookies are not accepted. My work around is the exception list for cookies for 'trusted' sites. Do you have a list of websites that would need to go into the exception list?

The [Awards/SQ] Method continues to function normally -- are you running the latest KVS Tool version?

There is no specific list, but you can keep all other MSIE security settings on high, as long as you enable First-Party Cookies via the Advanced options. Alternatively, it may be a good idea to install separate (non-MSIE) web browsers for regular browsing on those machines.

KVS, yes, I am running the latest version. Now 6.9.6. Error persists unfortunately. Any ideas?

Regarding cookies, I think I can live with the solution your suggesting...not great, but workable for me. If only more Chinese websites worked properly without IE, it'd be no trouble.

In that case, disabling 1st-party Cookies would not be a good idea, as many sites will not function properly. You can disable 3rd-party Cookies, as none of the Engines within the KVS Tool use them. You can also clear/delete all Cookies from time-to-time, as desired -- the KVS Tool will handle that automatically.

              Awards/SQ down again...

              Paging KVS...

I have just upgraded to the latest version (7.1.0) and now get a similar error message as I received back in March (which was resolved at the time).

This is the error message I get now:

              KVS Availability Tool

              Data Source Error [RL-3]

"We could not find the page you were looking for"
