Strange that they wrote MI when I don't see a single MI flight there...

      Love It

If GOD created me for only 1 reason. That reason would be to the love of my wife. If there was any other reasons involved, that would be for the love of Singapore Airlines

By the pattern and frequencies of recent discounts, it seems that SQ has problems filling up their economy and first/suites classes but no problems in keeping their business class full.

Suites wasn't really a promotion, was it? And if SQ is not putting Suites in their next A380s you know that the experience has been a desaster...

I haven't seen any promotions in F but got MEL as Saver in First for early November... Love my 747 First

That's pretty good, 49000 miles from SIN to Barcelona return in Y.

Are you referring to the Jan 1 - 31 list? There is no BCN on there. I hope you didn't misread BLR (Bangalore) for Barcelona (BCN).

Closest you get to Europe is IST or ATH. Not bad considering SQ's sometimes outrageous prices even in Y.

SIA seems to have problems filling Silk Air flights to India in Y given the recent 30% redemption discount offer.

Silkair operates flights to MAA and BLR together with SQ, just at different timings. On the same route, SQ would offer full-course meals, full range of beverages and amenities, personal IFE versus Silkair offering meals without starters, limited beverages and amenities and almost no IFE. It is a no brainer which airline a passenger would choose to fly on, especially if the prices are similar.

Indeed, plus the lack of *A benefits when flying MI which puts a number of people off flying SQ when it involves an MI flight.

Yup a total no go to have an MI flight to MAA. I rather fly 9W and credit to LH M&M or BD IIRC. Plus a MI A320 versus SQ 72A on those routes (I was pleasantly surprised) makes a huge difference.
