Crediting of Miles from OW to KF

Hi guys,

just wondering if it were possible to transfer or credit miles from BA/QF/CX (One World) to my existing KF account?

I cant seem to get any info on this. Thanks.

It would be great if we could but....... that's like walking into a Ford dealership and asking to buy an Opel.

They are separate alliances and competing.

Some programs allow transfers of miles out to other programs. So it might be possible to transfer from OW to *A via 1 or more intemediary programs. However, if it is possible to put into Kris Flyer you can be sure the value will be significantly reduced due to the poor transfer rates.

Some examples from Web Flyer's mileage converter tool:

100,000 AA miles -> 6,000-20,000 SQ miles (depending on intemediaries used)
100,000 MX miles -> 3,000-8,000 SQ miles

Note BA, CX, QF (and many other FFPs) do not allow transfers out to other programs.
