  • No miles earned for *A partner flight?

Hi, I'm so confused now. I flew Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Singapore, then SQ to Kuala Lumpur. IIRC Turkish Airlines is a *A member so earning KF miles is not a problem. However, after I arrived in KUL I checked my account and it only credited 184 miles for the KUL sector

    Thoughts?

Something went wrong... hope you kept your Boarding Passes. You might have to send those in, or ask KF to re-check

I think you should wait a few days, cause sometimes it takes a while for partner airlines' miles to be credited. If the miles aren't in by then, you will have to do a claim.

Terrance711 - not all fare classes earn miles, so this could be one problem. Check the website to see whether your fare class on the TK flight was mileage earning.

Secondly, and this is more likely, as spw21 has said, partner miles can take several days to arrive in the account. However, Singapore Airlines flights paid into KF generally appear within hours, this would explain why you only see the SIN-KUL sector right now. Give it at least a week or two before making a claim, if you are entitled to miles.

The Turkish flight is booked in Y class fare, so I don't think it's a problem there. Will wait a while for the miles then

TK posted my miles about 12 days later once... but I got them in the end, hang on there

Last time I flew TG, I got my miles credited into KF about 4-5 working days later.

Me too. I'm flying on the 29th. On L class - which is miles accruable.
                  What about you?

Many airlines process mileage information between themselves in batches - so just because someone got their miles fast or slow doesn't mean yours will. It depends on how far behind they are and luck as to if you fly just before a batch is cut off or not.

I allow 2 weeks for partner airline earning. Most times it takes about a week but can be slower or faster. At 3 weeks I chase up.

No miles in yet, I'll send in my claim. Is it possible to do it online?

You need to mail in your original boarding pass from TK.
