Finally UK Amex cardholders can transfer Membership Reward pts to KrisFlyer

I received an email from Amex today with a section devoted to SQ:

With Membership Rewards you can transfer your points to KrisFlyer and take advantage of the KrisFlyer 10th Anniversary Promotion - receive up to 50%
discount on KrisFlyer miles required for an online redemption until 15 September 2009.

I called the Platinum membership line to confirm, and yes, KrisFlyer is a new partner. Ratio is 1 point:1 mile and the transfer process is expected to take about 5 working days.

Ha, I should have been paying closer attention to the card's benefits. We couldn't do a direct transfer before, as we had to lose points via the hotel schemes. What a nice surprise.
