Special Upgrade Points: How Many Did *You* Earn?

absolutely new here...

My situation is this: I have just over 50K points and now I received 2 UG1 vouchers. BUT I rather have 1 UG5 instead of 2 UG1.

Is there any chance that they might change that for me if I give up the second UG1?

This turns out to have been a pretty brilliant promotion from SQ perspective. I did two round-trips Europe-SE Asia to qualify and now am looking for a reason to go again in F before the end of November. Too bad that First means R on my routes, so this will be tricky...

Yippee! I "earned" a UG3 (<300 SUP's short of UG4) voucher.

I had already booked a Y class SYD-SIN-JNB-SIN-SYD flexi for the end of July earlier this month.

When I tried to redeem the UP3 voucher, J seat upgrades were only available on the outbound leg. Bummer.

Anyhow, I hedged there might be more award seats on an alternative itinerary. After some re-shuffling of flights (at no extra cost, I changed to SQ222/221 on the SYD-SIN-SYD A380), I successfully was able to redeem the UG3 voucher for all 4 legs.

This will be my first time in SQ J class! I'm super excited, even if I hear reports of the "dated" 777-200 from SIN-JNB. Hopefully, the A380 J experience will temper any disappointment ;-)

Just re qualified QPP2 and I still haven't flown on the Whalejet R, J or Y

I haven't upgraded a flight before, just wondering whether I still earn miles and PPS value on my original J ticket?

Booking is showing up as Class D/A on the electronic ticket.

I thoguht the upgrades could only be used for one round-trip segment. Your were able to upgrade MEL-SIN and SIN-ICN round trip ???

I booked the J tickets without any stopover in SIN. So it's considered a round trip I suppose, transitting through SIN only.
