  • 77W Saver Awards Are Back

Despite the Office of the CEO telling me that SQ does not intend to release any Saver Awards for 77W/388 soon, there are now new flights available.

Book quickly before SQ is claiming a "system glitch" again.

My flight to Australia is confirmed in J on the 77W for April:

1.290 SGD in booking class E plus 45.500 miles for return upgrades (35% off promo)

Looks like being PPS has its value again - I should shift some of my business back to SQ

Actually, could this be a reconfig 773?

Don't think SQ will make a 'mistake'.. tried random dates, looking to be blocked on known 77W flights. but then, if they decide to release savers on 77Ws and 380s, then good for us members!

What about F? If you don't see any at all, I'm guessing that leans more to reconfig 773.

Just tried ICN-SFO in J and shows no saver awards avail (I tried July).

Routing is indeed SIN-MEL. I confirmed with SQ, that they plan to use the 77W (no re-configuration). No F awards offered, only J.

I actually was able to redeem a Saver Award J class to MEL last year on the 77W for my uncle...

Strange. Only April & May have J Savers for 77W to MEL, after June it's blocked out.

Maybe capacity management wants to increase total load to justify the third flight? I am still puzzled that 773, 77W and 744 are flying to MEL every day - 773 is undesirable for overnight...

The flights are constantly packed to the rafters to Melbourne, in Y at least.

I concur. Over the past 3 years, all SIN-MEL-SIN flights that I've took were filled to the brim in Y...

There is the probability that the current 77W flights may be changed to the retrofitted 773 with the new regional Biz class and New First Class seats. Therefore, that might explain why Savers are available for J but not F.

That's a probability but seat map still shows 1-2-1 as opposed to 2-3-2.
