  • Elite Gold -Virgin Atlantic Privileges

THE Singapore airlines website mentions NOTHING on the web page about KFEG member lounge privileges with Virgin Atlantic. Both whilst travelling Y on VS and Y on SQ.

If I fly Y on VS with KFEG do I get a lounge invite to either the clubhouse or contract lounge VS use?? Example SYDNEY-HONG KONG, I believe VS use the NZ lounge in SYD, can I use it too when a VS Y pax with KFEG? Do they give you an invitation? Do KFEG Y pax still get clubhouse access when flying VS and SQ? The SIA website doesnt mention it.

I don't think you will be allowed into the VS CH on a Krisflyer Elite Gold travelling Y on VS. On SQ Y I also doubt it. Probably not, but ymmv...

I can confirm travelling on SQ Y with KF EG you can access the Virgin Clubhouse. However no guest allowed.

I believe that you can use the lounge both on SQ Y and VS Y when you have KFEG.

Now, that's a really worthwhile KF EG benefit, if so!

Yes i agree. There is not much difference in Elite gold and PPS except 10% disc on duty free items and purchases on board.

              Most attractive benefit IMO.

Yeah, but I find entrance into SKL to be quite comforting for early morning flights.

That's correct. Flying both SQ Y and VS Y, I got into the clubhouse at heathrow about 5 or 6 times last year ahd this year without any problems.

The question remains though, if you are flying VS Y from an airport with no clubhouse, can you use their contract lounge with KFEG card...

e.g. they use the NZ lounge for SYD departures, which I can access whilst flying * Alliance but not sure if I can access while flying VS

For some reason, I have never attempted to use any of the Virgin lounges other than in Heathrow.

Does anybody know the answer to sqdazz's question above? I am curious to know the answer too.
