FRA-SIN in C - Miles?

Hi everbody,
this week i will book FRA-SIN-FRA in C for my son and me. Now my question - do i earn the miles from my son too? Of Course i will pay both tickets

I will book this flight at may local travel agency, is it possible for them to make a seat reservation in C?

No, you do not earn miles for your son's ticket...

You dont earn miles from your son's ticket but indirectly you could from the credit card you use to pay for the ticket.

Yes, your TA could issue you seat assignments.

I see you're a MM and KF member. Depending where your main program is, MM gives 200% miles whereas KF give you 125% miles

I just noticed this post. First of all, belated welcome to SQTalk.
It's correct that you can not earn the miles for your son's ticket. But why not open an account for your son? Looks like if you open a Miles&More (since you are based in TXL), you will earn 200%. Thus FRA-SIN-FRA would be about 12,274 one way or for total 24,548. I am sure these miles would be useful someday, such as a travel intra-Europe with the FlySmart options.
