  • Mileage accrual in C on LX

    IM CONFUSED !!!!

    Currently *A Silver in SQ.

Flying BHX-ZCH-JNB-ZCH-BHX in C and according to Swiss SIte i get 200% of miles flown (See here)

According to SQ site i get 12462 per leg (so 24924 return)

Will this just be added "as is" to my SQ mileage or does the 25% bonus for being *a Silver apply ?

Also, how long does it take to be added (Im flying SQ to SYD in C early aug nad that MIGHT give me enough for an upgrade!)

TIA for your help guys (TR to come)
Have we flown/are we flying together ?

    It's 200% if credited to M&M + 25% if you're FTL/SEN or HON.

KF will credit as is with a 25% COS bonus. No 25% elite bonus as it's not on SQ/MI.

It normally takes 10-14 days for the miles to come through, any earlier and you're doing well. However, 3 weeks max is also to be anticipated.

              DAMN !!!!

Im flying LHR-SIN-SYD in early Aug...

was GONNA use these + existing miles to see if i could get me an upgrade !!!!!

(OOI...I assume that USING your miles for an upgrade doesnt affect status : i.e status is on miles ACCRUED rather than "in the bank")

That's right. Your status is based on your Elite Miles, which don't run down with redemptions; they just get re-set to zero at the start of a new membership year.

The miles for upgrading come from your KrisFlyer miles, which is generally the stock of accumulated Elite Miles, bonus miles, and partner miles (earned minus redeemed), adjusted for expiration.
