Redemption requirements up 10%

Just saw an email from SQ stating redemption requirements going up around 10% and changes to stopovers on redemption bookings (30 day max).

It is quite staggering how much airline points, and especially Krisflyer points, have been devalued over the years. Same thing has happened with hotel points in many programs. I've always thought airline miles and points were depreciating assets, and have redeemed my miles over the years, rather than hoarded them.
