Middle name??

I made the terrible mistake of adding a new nominee's last name only (it seems to say that only last names are mandatory, not first). I called Krisflyer and they told me that they can't do any changes for me without incurring costs on my part (miles/cash) - I have to add the nominee again with the full name. Now my question is, if the person has a middle name, where should that go (the first name field or the last name field)?

As far as I know, it should be with the first name.

This is similar to how you'd deal with three character ethnic chinese names. The surname goes into the surname field, and the two names go into the first name field.

i've flown many, many times, and have never used my middle name, although it appears on my passport. it really is unnecessary. the required fields ask for "first name" and "last name." Because it doesn't ask for "middle name," you don't need to provide it.
