So, no flights between the flight that qualified you and the time the system recognized your qualification?

If the latter, do they count the S$s spent within the last five years prior to Solitaire lapsing? That Cumulative PPS Value does not apply (according to the rules) to Solitaire members seems to suggest not.
The rules are pretty clear. If a TPP fails to spend S$25k in the next qualifying year the TPP is demoted to QPP. If as a QPP you fail to spend S$25k then the QPP is demoted to KFG or KFS dictated by the miles travelled.

A demoted TPP (now QPP) who spends $25k should be given TPP status back again.

If demoted to KFG then would have to spend $250k in five years to requalify for TPP.

I've seen that assertion made in various fora, but I can't find anything in the rules which says that. Can you quote something specific?

          B. Membership qualification and renewal

What will happen if my Solitaire PPS Club membership is not renewed?

If your Solitaire PPS Club membership is not renewed at the end of your current membership year, you will qualify for PPS Club membership instead for a year. You will re-qualify for Solitaire PPS Club membership once your PPS Value is S$25,000, achieved anytime during the 12 months of your PPS Club membership.

What will happen if my PPS Club membership is not renewed?

If your PPS Club membership is not renewed at the end of your current membership year, you will qualify for either KrisFlyer Elite Gold or Elite Silver membership, depending on the number of current Elite miles you have earned. Your cumulative PPS Value, which is only used to track towards Solitaire PPS Club membership, will have no application when you are not a PPS Club member.
A cumulative PPS Value of S$250,000 within five consecutive years of PPS Club membership will then be required to re-qualify for Solitaire PPS Club membership.

            Thanks Ex-SIN. That's clear.

Now I feel better about my TPP run. It was worth it to only have to worry about requalification every other year.
